Cacao Ceremony

Join Donata Meduri for a Cacao Ceremony: a heart-opening experience centered around self-discovery and connection; an opportunity to go inwards, release stagnant energies, relax and find clarity, while also creating authentic connections with yourself and others.

Engaging with Cacao in Ceremony expands your horizons beyond merely savoring it as a tasty drink boasting health, mood, and energy benefits. Ceremonial Cacao is used as Shamanic medicine and through opening the heart, it enables you to hear your true self.

Different from standard chocolate bars available in shops and at the supermarket, Ceremonial Cacao is Cacao in its purest form. Used by Mesoamerican cultures for thousands of years, Cacao is capable of opening the heart by increasing the vibratory frequency of every cell in your body, bringing you closer to the dimensions of love, joy and inner peace.

The Ceremony will begin with a purification ritual using copal, cleansing the mind, body, and spirit.

You'll then learn more about the history of Cacao and the benefits of this ancient plant medicine, before being guided into mindfully drinking your cup of Cacao. Through breathing exercises, intuitive movement, and the soothing tones of healing music, you'll be invited to release inhibitions and surrender to the wisdom of the present moment. Oracle cards offer gentle guidance, while journaling prompts introspection and personal insight. As the ceremony unfolds, attendees are encouraged to speak from the heart, fostering a sense of community and mutual understanding, where hearts intertwine in vulnerability and authenticity. It doesn't matter if you've never joined a Ceremony of this kind, everyone is welcome. Suitable for vegans.

Is Ceremonial Cacao for you?

  • The consumption of Ceremonial Cacao should be avoided if taking antidepressants/high doses of SSRIs.

  • Ceremonial Cacao is not recommended if you have heart problems, adrenal fatigue, high blood pressure, are pregnant or breastfeeding.

  • Ceremonial Cacao is not recommended if you are caffeine sensitive (If you drink coffee, you are able to drink cacao.).

Get Ready For The Event

  • Wear comfortable and clothes that are also good for moving your body and for relaxation.

  • Eat light before the ceremony.

  • It is recommended not to drink coffee on the day of the Ceremony (If you really can't resist, avoid coffee at least 4 hours before the Ceremony.).

  • Drink lots of water and bring your water bottle with you. Cacao is a diuretic and without proper hydration, headaches can occur.

  • Bring a pen and your journal or notebook.

  • If you want, you can also bring a gift for our altar - it can be something very simple like a flower or leaf found on the ground in a park or a small object dear to you (like a crystal) which you will then take home with you.
